Busy, Busy and some new friends!

Well Diego and I had a great holiday in Mexico! It was amazing to actually get out diving in warm water for once...I am used to diving in Nova Scotia where the water barely reaches 17 degrees in the summer!! We have both been busy catching up on work since we got back but now it is time to get back into blogging!

The last post I had was about taking down one of our freshwater tanks to make way for a NEW reef tank!!! We have not made much progress since we have been back. However, we did pick up our new MH lights and now we just have to figure out how we are going to mount them!!! We were thinking behind curtains...I know it sounds weird and I haven't yet fully wrapped my head around it but I have been brainstorming. This I will definitely keep you posted on!!

Also before leaving, we picked up some livestock for our new tank...they have been living crammed into our other two tanks...so they are both a disaster but it was definitely worth it!!! We picked up a couple of tridacnid clams...which I absolutely LOVE...along with a plethora of SPS corals and an abalone (another all time fav) from a friend who was parting out his tank. At least well have some nice things to get started with!
